Catch your vision.
Now that you are a “visioneer”, and you have a desire to pursue something better for your life, it’s time to catch your vision! What does that mean? Simply put, it means to identify what you are passionate about and what purpose God has placed on your life, and then set a long-term goal, or vision, centered around your integrated passion and purpose. Remember, don’t place limitations on your vision…think BIG!
Earl Nightingale, in his book The Strangest Secret, outlined some key steps to living a successful life and achieving your vision:
- You will become what you think about. (Do you think about positive things that make you better, or you do you dwell on those things that bring you down?)
- Remember the word “imagination” and let your mind begin to soar. (Are you allowing yourself to dream of what is possible, or are you instead focusing on the perceived impossible?)
- Courageously concentrate on your goal every day. (What small steps are you taking each day to draw closer to your vision? What obstacles are causing you to lose focus?)
Finally… TAKE ACTION! A great vision is worthless if you do nothing to pursue it. Make an intentional effort to catch your vision today.
